Welcome to the Keep the Poppy On Wiki

On November 11, 2005, I decided to wear my red poppy all year round. I even launched a blog to chronicle my adventure. Sadly, I kept losing my poppy and after losing it for the dozeneth time, I abandoned my quest.

As we approach another November 11th, I want to encourage everyone to not only purchase a red poppy, but to keep it on well after November 11th.

I'd like us to use this wiki to chronicle our Keep the Poppy On tales. If you decide to wear your poppy after November 11th, please share your anecdotes, funny stories and interesting tales. Let's build a community as we carry forth on this difficult mission.

It is my hope that by keeping our poppies on, we encourage people to remember those who have lost loved ones or have become maimed and injured due to their efforts in wars that are far away.
